Notes: The first St. John's church was dedicated in 1865. In 1875, Prof. E.C. Gaebler installed a pipe organ in the church manufactured at his Temple of Music, Fourth Street, Watertown. The old St. John's building was razed commencing April 1907. On April 5, 1908, the congregation dedicated its new sanctuary, including a new pipe organ installed at a cost of $4,650. The organ remains in the gallery of the church.
