Builder: Levsen Organ Co. (Rodney Levsen Sr.), 1996 Manuals: 3 Ranks: 16 Action: Electropneumatic Notes: Grace Lutheran's original organ was purchased in 1897. It was hand pumped for 17 years; in 1914, a blower motor was installed. The instrument was extensively rebuilt in 1952 with a new console. In 1979, a new blower and console were purchased. In 1996, a fire caused serious damage to the church. The working parts of the Great and Swell were destroyed and smoke damaged most of the rest of the organ. Levsen Organ Company was hired to rebuild the organ. New wind chests were built, a new digital system installed, and an expression enclosure added to the choir organ.
