Builder: Dommer Organ Co., 1988 Originally: Geo. S. Hutchings, Opus 291, 1892; rebuild Reuter Organ Co., 1953 Manuals: 2 Ranks: 17 Action: Electropneumatic Notes: Built by Hutchings in 1892 as 2 manual 20 stop organ, the instrument was rebuilt by Reuter in 1953. The organ was removed from the old First Presbyterian Church (demolished in 1965) and rebuilt by Robert Dommer in the new church. Ranks marked with an asterisk are partly or wholly Hutchings pipework; the Great Principal, Mixture, and Trumpet are partly or wholly Reuter; and the Stopped Diapason, Nachthom, Principal, and Larigot were added by Dommer. As rebuilt by Reuter the organ was entirely enclosed; now only the Swell is enclosed, and there is an extra, nonfunctional swell pedal on the console. Photos by David Engen, 2013.
