Builder: Vogelpohl & Spaeth, Opus 545, 1898 Manuals: 2 Ranks: 9 Action: Mechanical Notes: The organ was installed about a year after the present church was built by Swedish Lutherans on Sand Lake. According to records in the Brown County Historical Society (New Ulm, MN), the organ cost $1000. Installed in the balcony, the organ remains nearly as built, down to the intact stencilling on the facade pipes; the only obvious changes are the removal of two composition pedals, and the addition of a chimes unit on its own keyboard. A blower was added at some point and the pumping mechanism disconnected but left intact. Restorative repair was completed by Allen Moe in 2010. The organ is extant, functional and used on a regular basis. Photos from Facebook where there were no pictures of the whole organ. 2020.
