Action: Wicks Direct Electric (c) Notes: Vernon Center Township, settled in 1855, was at first named Montevideo by the county commissioners on April 6, 1858, but ten days later they renamed it Vernon (Center), and on October 14, 1858 they changed this to the present name of Willow Creek, MN.
