The Hook opus list shows this number built for the State Institute for the Blind in Austin, TX. The Pilcher ledger indicates that Pilcher installed a used Hook & Hastings from the Institute for the Blind in Austin at Bethlehem Evangelical, 6th & Hill, Louisville, KY in 1918. The Texas site is not mentioned in any of the church documents. A member of the parish purchased the organ from an unidentified public theater in Fort William. He underwrote its transportation and installation in 1931.
