Builder: M.P. Möller Organ Co., Op. 936, 1909 (moved from
Detroit in 1921). Manuals: 3 Ranks: Unknown Action: Electro-pneumatic Notes: Originally from St Paul’s Cathedral, Detroit, MI. Rebuilt by Moller and moved/installed in St Paul in 1921. When St. Paul's Episcopal moved from Lowertown (downtown St. Paul) to "The Hill," they brought everything they could from their old building including pews, chancel furnishings, and stained glass. The new building was designed by Emmanuel Masqueray and built in 1912. The Lowertown church did have a pipe organ by Hook & Hastings. That instrument was put in storage at the time of the move. The congregation couldn't afford to install it in their new church, so it was sold to pay for the storage fee. Chuck Hackman (former organist) and Organ Historical Society as of 2009.
