Builder: Hendrickson Organ Co, Opus 34, 1976 Manuals: 3 Ranks: 51 Stops: 37 Pipes: 2682 Action: Direct Electric Slider Notes: Voiced by Robert Sperling, regulated by Sperling and David Engen. Manual chests are slider with direct electric valves. Pedal is direct electric. Great on the left, Swell in the middle, Pedal on the right and above the Swell, with Positiv on the rail. Entire main organ is cantilevered somewhat because of the tone trap formed by the transepts and windows in the balcony. This is one reason the Positiv is so large -- to get the sound into the church. This organ replaced an old and failing Jubal electronic organ. The Jubal had tunable dashpots that would not "hold". After tuning, you could hear the dashpots gradually changing pitch, in some cases as much as a fifth away from what the pitch should have been. -- Information from David Engen, 2020 GREAT ORGAN 16' Pommer 58 8' Principal 58 8 Holzgedackt 58 8' Dolce II 104 4' Octave 58 4' Spitzflöte 58 2' Doublette 58 1.1/3' Mixture V 290 8' Trumpet 58 8' Horizontal Trumpet (cornet top octave) POSITIV ORGAN 8' Spitzprestant 58 8' Gedackt 58 4' Principal 58 4' Spitzgedackt 58 2' Octave 58 2' Blockflöte 58 1.1/3' Quintflöte 58 1' Zimbel IV 232 8' Krummhorn 58 8' Horizontal Trumpet (Gt) SWELL ORGAN 8' Rohrflöte 58 8' Viola 58 8' Viola Celeste tc 46 4' Principal 58 4' Koppelflöte 58 2.2/3' Nasat 58 2' Nachthorn 58 1.3/5' Terz 58 2/3' Scharff IV 232 16' Fagott 58 8' Trompette 58 4' Clarion 24 Tremulant PEDAL ORGAN 32' Resultant 16' Prestant 32 16' Bourdon 32 16' Pommer (Gt) 8' Octave 12 8' Spitzflöte 32 4' Choralbass 32 4' Spitzflöte 12 2' Mixture IV 128 16' Posaune 32 16' Fagott (Sw) 8' Trumpet 12 4' Schalmey 32 |
