Builder: Dobson Organ Co, Opus 70, 1998 Manuals: 2 Ranks: 45 Stops: 36 Pipes: 2227 Action: Mechanical key, electric stop Notes: The sanctuary was added on to a mansion built in 1917 by Augustus Searle. Organ installed during tenure of Greg Larsen, David Engen consultant. The organ committee for the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia spent an entire day with this organ and based their selection of Dobson to build the new organ at the Kimmel Center on their experience with this organ. Because of the long, deep chancel, the organ is quite loud at the console in order to carry into the church. Great and Pedal at impost level, with Swell above the Great. The large pedal pipes are behind, some horizontal on the floor.
