Residence of David Engen

Currently housed at Jehovah Lutheran
St Paul, MN

Builder: David Engen
Manuals: 2
Ranks: 7
Action: Electro-mechanial

Notes: Originally built to fit available space in an apartment in St. Peter, MN. Case constructed in the Dobson Organ Co. shop in Lake City Iowa in about 1975.  Moved to a house at 108 W. Myrtle St. in St. Peter where the main chest was wired, and then to Maple Grove, MN (first photo). When the house was sold in 2016 the organ was moved to the Grandall and Engen shop in Maple Grove to be completed. At this time the "appendix" was built by Ted Brinduse to sit behind the organ on wheels, holding the bass end of the 16' Regal, the 16' Untersatz (converted 8' wood diapason), the mixture, the MIDI speakers, and a Viscount sound unit. The organ is housed at Jehovah Lutheran in St. Paul, and is for sale. It includes transposer, automatic bass, and complete multi-memory combination action with controls housed in a drawer.
