Builder: Wurlitzer Organ Co., Rudolph, Op. 1374, 1926. Moved
to church in about 1935. Manuals: 2 Ranks: 5 Action: Electro-pneumatic Notes: Organ relocated without any change to the church. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in David Junchen's "The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ," an Illustrated History, p.663. Wurlitzer "Style B Special" model organ moved from the Grand/Gopher Theatre, Minneapolis. It is unclear why a large church such as Holy Trinity, would need or want a small, used theatre organ. It was installed in the chamber on the left side of the chancel. It remained until the 1974 Casavant was installed (on the right side). Holy Trinity Lutheran purchased a new Moller organ in 1926. Later Holy Trinity purchased a Casavant organ. Organ Historical Society as of 2014. |
