Builder: Casavant Freres, Opus 43-SH, 1917 Manuals: 3 Ranks: 35 Action: Electro-pneumatic (probably ventil chests) Notes: Built in 1917 in South Haven, MI. Casavant's Michigan factory built 52 organs between 1912 and 1918 (including St. Paul's Episcopal in Duluth -- replaced by Moller). The factory closed in 1918. Shop records were not transferred intact to St. Hyacinthe, so factory records from these organs are difficult or impossible to locate. The organ was opened Sunday afternoon, March 18, 1917 with Edmund Sereno Ender at the console. The church and organ were bulldozed to make way for a highrise apartment building in the 1970's.
