Builder: Estey Organ Co (Opus 2887, 1930) Manuals: 2 Action: Electro-pneumatic Notes: Updated through on-line information from Mark Thompson. -- The organ contained an Estey labial oboe as its only 'reed' stop, it was cone-tuned except for stopped flutes. The Estey organ was replaced ca. 2000 by an electronic instrument. The pipes were given to Hendrickson Organ Co., St. Peter, MN; the console was removed (allegedly to be converted into a wet bar) and the speakers for the electronic were set on the windchests. To the best of my knowledge, all other parts of the organ not taken by Hendrickson Organ were abandoned in place. |
