rebuild of 1910 tubular-pneumatic organ Manuals: 2 Stops: 20 Ranks: 20 Notes: In 2007, a condition survey prompted remedial work for better access to chambers, and a much-needed general cleaning, pipe removal and repair. This work was followed by console & chamber technical repairs, tonal regulation & tuning. Volunteer work by Lodge members during the full cleaning and pipe stabilization was coordinated by Terrence Becker, a Temple leader. Volunteer guidance was provided by organ tech David Beyer, of Milwaukee. This renovation project resulted in an Oct 2012 public showing of Nosferatu with organ, in the Temple's handsome two-story Egyptian Revival Theatre. Other showings are slated for 2013-14. --Information and photos from David Beyer.
