Builder: Estey Organ Co., Op. 1705, 1919. Manuals: 2 Ranks: Unknown Action: Electro-pneumatic Notes: Information from Bryan Williams. Estey Op. 1705 was originally installed in St Casimir's Roman Catholic Church in Sioux City, Iowa in 1919. It remained there until the building was demolished in about the year 2000. At that time, it was relocated by parishioners to St Joseph's R.C. Church in Neptune, Iowa (circa 2000). I learned of the organ through the Dobson Organ Company; St Joseph's is scheduled for demolition in July [presumably 2012], so I removed the organ. It is presently disassembled but it is my intent to repair it to its original condition without modifications. Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979. Organ Historical Society as of 2007. |
