The First Baptist Church, located at Ninth and Douglas streets is shown in this April 13, 1958 photo. This church building, the third home of First Baptist, was dedicated April 6, 1919. Final services at the First Baptist Church of Sioux City were held Feb. 5, 1995. A vote to disband came in the church's 134th year after a number of years of declining membership.
