Our present house of worship was built in 1874 and has been remodeled and added on to several times with the last addition done in 1995 to make our sanctuary handicap accessible. Our strong Lutheran traditions were formed by our German and Norwegian ancestors. With their guidance and blessings, the early pastors of our congregation began mission work in North Iowa and Southern Minnesota, establishing new congregations in neighboring communities. We continue to have strong relationships with other congregations in our community to this day, having been partnered with Faith Lutheran in Mitchell since 1991 and enjoying our current relationship with Rock Creek and St. Luke as of 2012.
