University of Iowa's Clapp Recital Hall was closed in spring of 2008 (due to extreme flooding on campus) and the organ was sold to St Andrew Presbyterian in Iowa City. Additional update from Matthew Penning, Director of Music: The congregation has relocated and have secured possession of the former University of Iowa Clapp Recital Hall organ (Casavant, Op. 3105). Opus 3105 is currently dismantled and being stored at Dobson Pipe Organ Builders in Lake City, IA. We anticipate a reinstallation in late 2015. Op. 3502 (previous Casavant) has been relocated (by Dobson Organs in 2014) to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aurelia, Iowa. Organ Historical Society as of 2020. Editor's note: As originally built there was no Swell to Positiv coupler. This was added in the reconstruction for St. Andrew's. Lack of this coupler was a constant irritant for the students. (I played a DMA recital on it and played Franck, which was a challenge.)
