Builder: Reuter Organ Co., Op. 564, 1939. Manuals: 2 Ranks: 7 Action: Electro-pneumatic/Pitman chests Notes: Updated by G. Mark Caldwell. The Bethany building closed and the organ was purchased by Thomas Birkett of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and installed in his home. In 2015, Mr. Birkett and Roger A. Banks of Edmond, Oklahoma, removed the organ from Mr. Birkett's home and moved it to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bartlesville in 2015, where it is presently in regular use. From all outward appearances, the chests are standard Reuter pitman action on all stops, except the Stopped Diapason, which is controlled by electro-mechanical slide switches on each manual. The instrument was moved to its present home in Bartlesville, OK, it was fitted with a modern Laukhuff blower, located in the organ chamber. The original Reuter 8-stage expression engine was re-used, with linkage to the shades to fit its new home. All other mechanicals and electricals are all original Reuter equipment, and working well, considering its age. Organ Historical Society as of 2020.
