The Reuter contract was essentially for a new console and the addition of seven ranks and associated windchests for the existing Austin organ. The original Austin (1914) was installed in the landmark Louis Sullivan building when it was built in 1914. Austin was rebuilt (by Austin) in 1929 and updated by Reuter.
