First Congregational Church

220 Ransom Street
Ripon, WI 54971

Builder: Wicks Organ Co., Opus 3583, 1956
Manuals: 2
Ranks: 14
Action: Wicks Direct Electric

Notes: The Great, Swell, and Pedal divisions are located in the rear balcony. The Positiv division is located in the chancel.
Ed. Note: There is no sign of a chancel Positiv in the Facebook pictures. In 2016 the church was painted and new carpet was installed. Where the Wicks console had been in the chancel (3rd picture) there is now a ramp and an electric piano (2nd picture). During the painting, the organ chamber on the right side of the balcony was changed from painted to stained oak panels. It appears the entire organ is within the left chamber. The picture with the open console has an anotation that it will be some time until they hear the organ again. The bottom picture shows the previous organ, located in the chancel.
