Notes: This magnificent organ is the third instrument to serve this church. The first was an 1877 Steere & Turner (Opus 119) of one manual and eight ranks. This served in this building until 1886. The Johnson organ was then installed. It was rebuilt in 1929 and upgraded by Casavant, retaining thirty ranks from the Johnson. New CC pipes added to all manual stops, and a new CCC pipe added to the Pedal stops to bring the pitch down to 440-A. New treble pipes added to all old manual and pedal stops to extend the compass to 68 notes on the manuals and 32 notes on the pedal. All the old pipes to be shipped to the factory and cleaned.
