Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church

1801 W. Broadway
St. Peter, MN 56082

(See separate entries for earlier instruments. A tornado destroyed much of a previous building in 1998. Hendrickson was contracted to remove and reuse part of the earlier organ in this new building.)
Builder: Hendrickson Organ Co., Op. 99, 2001.
Manuals: 3
Ranks: 40
Action: Electro-mechanical/slider chests

Notes: After the damage to the original Church of St. Peter by the 1998 tornado, the 1981 opus 53 Hendrickson pipe organ was removed and saved. The church was demolished, and a new church/school facility built a mile away. The organ was revised, enlarged to 3-manuals 40 ranks on electric action, and installed in the new church in the Spring of 2001. The facade was designed by Andreas Hendrickson, who also supervised its construction and installation. Those 1981 facade pipes, which were undamaged after the tornado, were retained and placed into the new facade as spacers for the new facade pipes. The old tracker windchests were electrified and incorporated into the new design.
