Notes: Disposition, specification, architectural design, casework and tonal finishing by Eric A. Fiss, Fargo, ND.
The instrument was severly damaged in a fire. The usable pipework was removed and the church now has an electronic. The pipes were used by Marin Organ Co to build an organ for St. Boniface Catholic in Cold Spring, MN in 2013.
Difficult to see in the photo to the right is the Cimbelstar in the rightmost facade flat. These notes were written by Eric Fiss: "The star was carved by the designer of the organ. A word regarding the symbolism of this ornament may be of interest. The center is representative of the earth's form, sustained by the hand of God and invested with the four primary forces, which makes the earth visible among the other planets of the sun, - in other words, it radiates. Affinitive forces from our sun, in the form of rays, meet earth's forces, maintain its equilibrium, its rotation in its orbit, to give us our seasonal changes, maintain life on earth and assure its perpetuity."
