St Luke Episcopal Church

4557 Colfax Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN 55419

Builder: M.P.Möller, Opus 9701, 1962
Originally Hall Organ Co, 1929 (?)
Modified by Gerald Orvold, 1995
Manuals: 3
Ranks: 22
Action: Electropneumatic

Notes: Moller placed most of the organ in the church tower, above the central nave where it wafts down through a ceiling screen. There are two chambers separated by an access area holding one diapason rank, unenclosed. Tuning access is through an outside door in the tower via a classroom ladder. Parts of the Hall organ remain in the Chancel division, behind the choir singers and across the chancel from the console, on the left.  Gerald Orvold added choir mutations and a clarinet with a Wicks relay in 1995. First four photos by David Engen, 2013. Final photo taken from a Google search, showing the refinished floor undertaken in 2019.
