St John Lutheran Church ELCA

4842 Nicollet Avenue S
Minneapolis, MN

Builder: Hillgreen-Lane Organ Co, 1959
Manuals: 3
Ranks: 32
Action: Electropneumatic

Notes:  The organ was installed by D. Byron Arneson. The organ incorporated some ranks and chests from the earlier Hall organ. Four manual console, 3HP blower (in kitchen closet). Compton remote capture combo action (same as at Gustavus Adolphus College chapel). Separate 1/4 HP blower for console wind boost. (By 1968 the unit stops were plagued with dead notes. It was also a very difficult organ to get around in. - ed.) -- Information from Charles Hendrickson. Last update 2009.
