Messiah Lutheran Church

2504 Columbus Avenue
Minneapolis, MN
The building has been torn down

Builder: W. W. Kimball, Opus 7110 (?), 1932 (?)
Manuals: 3
Ranks: 16
Action: Electro-pneumatic chests

Notes: The organ is believed to be Opus 7110, although hand written on the chests is "7710", which is higher than the known Kimball opus numbers. We presume the hand-written "7" is actually "1".

All visible pipes are dummies. The organ is on the right side. Side-by-side chambers speak into a hallway "tone chute" open into the church through grill cloth. Pipes are stacked within chambers.

The Swell is closest to the altar, holding 7 ranks. The Great/Choir is by the outside wall on the right and holds 9 ranks. The Pedal Subbass has a wood bass and goes into open metal pipes for the Great English Diapason.
