Builder: David Engen 2012 Manuals: 2 Registers: 27 Action: Electro-pneumatic chests Notes: An SSOS switching system and a used 4-manual Moller console had been added after the 1976 Moller rebuild. The stop names on the knobs did not correlate to the actual stops, making the organ difficult to understand. An enormous pneumatic combination action filled a room directly below the console. We acquired a Klann console and completely reworked the stoplist into a simpler and more useful church organ with a new electric combination action. Some used pipes were acquired, the harp was removed so the two stops under it could again be used, and the Erzähler and its Celeste found their way into the organ at Trinity Lutheran in Belle Plaine, MN. The Gross Flute received stoppers and became the Bourdon. Some of the original Wangerin leather remains in the wind chests, leading to unusual ciphers. At the time of the work, the church did not have funds to remove that leather.
