Editor's note: I was organist here from 1971-73 when the pedal Gemshorn was added. The rumor was that Phelps was not pleased with the Krummhorn and had it re-made three times. Gerhard Krapf contributed to the design, and this organ was used by the University until Clapp Hall was completed in 1972. The organ is entirely behind a screen at the right front, with the Positiv closest to the console. The choir loft is adjacent to the console.
