Builder: Holtkamp, pre-1945 Action: Electro-pneumatic Notes: Original pipe organ was believed to be by George Jardine, 1877. The Jardine case was placed centrally in the balcony. In a 1945 letter by Harold Holmgren in the Swedish Institute Archives, he indicates it is a Holtkamp organ in need of cleaning and repairs. Evidently the key contacts needed to be replaced and in 1945 Holmgren was unable to get the silver wire needed through the Kilgen Organ Company. As he explains this in the letter he also will do some re-leathering and tuning. |
